Presented By NYC-SPC
This 4-day workshop in NYC will include the experience of shooting all day in New York; as well as the discussion, analysis, and critique of photographs. We will be looking to critique photographs individually as well as give feedback on the themes emerging in people's work and the possible directions they'd like to go in making a larger body of work. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, November 16 6pm-9pm: Introductions and opening lecture/discussion.
Friday, November 17 10am-6pm: A full day of shooting around the city
Saturday, November 18 10am-6pm: Morning/afternoon shooting followed by classroom review
Sunday, November 19 10am-6pm: Morning/afternoon shooting followed by classroom review
This workshop is intended for any photographer that is interested in walking outside and photographing people. It is expected that participants have some minimal amount of experience, and are familiar with general camera use. Cameras will not be provided.
A laptop will be needed on Saturday and Sunday for downloading images from your camera to edit/review.
